After winning the coveted title in the construction industry of Supplier of the Year at the Builders’ Merchant News Awards of Excellence in 2018, Digby Stone is proud to be taking part in the events again this year. This time, we are delighted to be sponsoring the Hard Landscaping Display of the Year category, which commends excellent showrooms and displays devised by our merchant partners.
At Digby Stone, we never underestimate the importance of offering customers the opportunity to experience how their dream garden could look, which is why we believe that outstanding hard landscaping displays are such an important sales tool. Product displays are surely an enormous part of our business and industry. Whether a large showroom or smaller stand display, we are continually impressed by the innovative methods and immersive designs implemented to inspire customers and generate sales.
Working side by side – with Digby Stone supplying landscaping material and design assistance, and our merchant partners providing client experience expertise and aesthetic ingenuity, we have seen some incredible exhibits created. Many have gone the extra mile and “dared to be different”, championing a full range of natural stone and porcelain products and accessories, which create huge opportunities for merchants to engage with their customers, and it is right that we recognise and celebrate those that are leading the way.
The judges will examine these techniques employed to display the products to their best advantage, to boost sales and improve the customer experience. Displays from January 2018 to the present day will be considered. The deadline to get nominations in for the Awards is Friday 30th August, so now is the time to enter!
Those finalists shortlisted for each category will be invited to attend the prestigious event itself, at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Proclaimed as the ‘must-attend event in the industry calendar’, attendees are invited to a champagne reception, a three-course lavish lunch and post-event drinks, for a day of celebration and networking with over 750 peers in the merchant industry.
